Storm Emeralda (M6) and Delta Reign: the Mega Rayquaza ex cards

What is Storm Emeralda

It is the sixth Japanese expansion of the Mega Evolution series, after Abyss Eye. The name recalls Pokémon Emerald and its star, Rayquaza, which arrives here as Mega Rayquaza ex. Among the Trainers there is Zinnia (Zinnia's Trust), the character linked to Rayquaza in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.

The chase cards

As in every Mega Evolution set, the most expensive cards are the secret versions of the Mega ex. Here are the prices in our catalogue on 2 November 2026.

The ARs: full-art illustrations

The ARs (Art Rares) run from 077 to 088: twelve Pokémon drawn with the artwork filling the whole card. Kyogre and Groudon are the favourites, because they recall the Ruby and Sapphire legendaries next to Rayquaza. To understand the rarity codes read Japanese card rarities.

Delta Reign: the English release

Delta Reign releases on 6 November 2026, a little over three months after Japan. The name recalls the «Delta Episode» of Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, the story of Rayquaza and Zinnia. Japanese collectors have had the cards since August: to understand the differences read Japanese or English cards.
