Special Deck Set MEGA: the Mega Feraligatr, Mega Dragonite and Mega Gengar decks
Updated on 24/10/2026
What the Special Deck Set MEGA is
It is not an expansion with booster packs but a box with three ready-made decks, one for each Mega Evolution. It is the easiest way to start playing with Japanese cards: open it and play straight away, even with a friend. If you don't know the rules yet, start with how to play the Pokémon TCG.

The Mega Feraligatr ex deck (Water)
Its attack «Killer Crunch» reaches 400 damage if the opponent's Active Pokémon already has damage counters. The deck sets up the hit with Glastrier, which does 20 damage to the Active Pokémon and to the Bench, and with Mantine, which puts 2 Basic Pokémon on the Bench. It has 18 basic Water Energy and holo versions of Totodile and Croconaw.
The Mega Dragonite ex deck (Dragon)
The Ability «Sky Carry» switches your Active Pokémon with a Benched one once per turn; the attack «Ryuno Glide» does 330 damage by discarding 2 Energy. Dragonair searches the deck for Evolution Pokémon and Wellspring Mask Ogerpon attaches Water Energy. It has 6 basic Water and 12 basic Lightning Energy.
The Mega Gengar ex deck (Darkness)
The Ability «Shadow Hide» makes your opponent take one fewer Prize card when one of your Darkness Pokémon is Knocked Out by an attack from a Pokémon ex. «Void Gale» does 230 damage with 2 Energy and moves one to the Bench. Sableye and Seviper hit harder when a Darkness Mega is in play.
The cards they share
All three decks have 4 Ultra Ball, 2 Boss's Orders and 4 «Lillie's Determination», which shuffles your hand away and draws 6 cards, or 8 if you still have all 6 Prize cards.
